At Swindon Web Creations we are not just a bunch of coffee lovers, we are proud supporters of our local communities and small businesses. Whether it’s grabbing a coffee to go whilst on a walk or a sharing a cake with friends or a business lunch, coffee shops are the hubs of our communities and high streets. Below we share some of our team’s favourite local spots and why we love them.

Blake’s Kitchen, Coleshill

Why we love it

Tucked away in the National Trust Coleshill Estate, Blake’s Kitchen is a beautiful spot is surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect place to stop for a coffee after a countryside walk, plus they are dog friendly. And to top it off they have plenty of vegan and gluten free options.

Maddy recommends: Vanilla latte and a cinnamon bun

Mabel’s Old Town, Devizes Road

Why we love it

Mabel’s Old Town is a great little spot on the outskirts of the ever-popular Old Town – perfect for a coffee to go or a bit of people-watching on the roundabout. Plus, they’ve got some goooood cakes from Lizzy Bakes, another local favourite!

Paul recommends: Flat white and a rocky road

The Cricklade Club, Cricklade

Why we love it

More than just a coffee shop, The Cricklade Club is a social hub at the heart of the high street, that brings a little bit of Shoreditch to Cricklade. Offering coffee and pastries is a staple, but where they really excel is with their brunch offering, which is not just delicious but uses locally sourced ingredients. Sometimes you might even catch them nipping over the road to the local butchers – can’t get more local than that!

Fizz recommends: Cappuccino and California brunch

Weigh It Up, Highworth

Why we love it

The Weigh It Up café, has a lovely and cosy atmosphere, and is nestled in a zero-waste shop full of ethical and local products. Unsurprisingly there are lots of vegan options on offer.

Maddy recommends: Oat milk chai latte

Coate Water Café, Coate Water

Why we love it

On the edge of Swindon’s iconic Coate Water Country Park, the Coate Water Café is a much-loved part of any trip to Coate Water. It’s the perfect place to grab a quick coffee to keep you warm as wander around the lakes on a crisp winter walk.

Paul recommends: Latte and chips
